Selection and purchase of stone

The quality of finished decorative stone can be identified from the following four aspects:
The first view is to observe the surface structure of the stone with the naked eye. Generally speaking, the stone with uniform fine material structure has fine texture and is a good stone product; The appearance effect of coarse-grained and unequal-grained stone is poor. In addition, due to the influence of geological process, some small cracks often occur in the stone, and the stone is most likely to crack along these parts, so attention should be paid to removing them. As for the lack of edges and corners, it is more important to pay attention when selecting.
Second, measure the size of the stone, so as not to affect the splicing, or cause the pattern, pattern and line deformation after splicing, which will affect the decoration effect.
Third, listen to the knocking sound of stone. Generally speaking, the knocking sound of high-quality stone is clear and pleasant; On the contrary, if there are slight cracks in the stone or the contact between particles becomes loose due to weathering, the knocking sound will be hoarse.
Four tests, that is, use simple test methods to check the quality of stone. Generally, a small particle of ink is dropped on the back of the stone. If the ink is quickly dispersed and leached, it indicates that the particles inside the stone are loose or there are gaps, and the quality of the stone is poor; On the contrary, if the ink drops in place, it means that the stone is of good quality.
